Who it is for: full-time: Hong Kong players who can represent Hong Kong, juniors born 2008 to 2013 and seniors, by HKCTA nomination and HKSI selection only
Who gets in: Nomination needs a result such as top 3 at a U14 or U16 Asian (ATF) event or a J100 semi-final at U18, then ranking and results criteria by birth year
When: all year; 2027/28 status starts Apr 1, 2027
Next start: Apr 1, 2027; enrolment from mid-October 2026

Price: Grant: HKD 3,570 – 10,000 / month (juniors) · HKD 10,000 – 48,190 / month (seniors)
Included: Coaching, local and overseas training and competition, equipment, meals, sport science and medicine, strength and conditioning, insurance, education support
Not included: Players must meet HKCTA participation commitments while on the grant
Time on court: 25 hours a week
Trial: No trial; selection by results
Note: Not for sale: the player is paid a monthly grant; training, sport science, meals, insurance and the athlete hostel come with the scholarship
